Sven's Review
It's very hard to describe the feelings
that passed through my mind, my soul and my mind. It's the first time in
my entire life that I am really satisfied of one single show. The Eagles
really gave the best they could. It simply was a fantastic show.
The fact that the crowd just didn't
want the guys to leave the stage (about 13'000 people, the show was sold
out) is a clear sign that everyone in the venue was completely satisfied
of what they got from the band.
Even if the set list was exactly the
same as the previous shows around Europe, the guys were able to put some
different stuff in it, one example that can resume is that during "Rocky
Mountain Way" Joe Walsh brought on stage an Alp Corn, that is a 10 ft
long swiss instrument, and he could even play it!
With all my respect to Don Felder and
to the people that wrote some reviews of previous shows, I must spend a
word for Stuart Smith. The guy was just great. I really love the way he
play and the solos were not just copies of Don Felder's but he put a lot
of his own, and I'm sure that the Eagles will not let him go so easily.
To finish my short, but I'm sure
intensive, review I want some of you to be jealous: before the
soundcheck I had the chance to meet Joe Walsh, Don Henley and Glenn Frey
while they were arriving at the venue and I've got all of their
signatures.
