This radio spot is worth it if only to hear the DJ call
Glenn, "Rick Frey". Glenn talks about the band's influences
while the DJ talks about spirituality.
BBC Interview (1977)
The Eagles were promoting the Hotel California album, but
took time to talk about their previous work. This is Don and
Glenn with maybe a tiny bit of Felder. Yes, we know it
sounds like chipmunks. That's how our original is.

Box Set Open Ended Interview (2000) Back when the box
set came out, Glenn sat down for about 1/2 an hour and did
an open-ended interview. This is one of those interviews
where you can't hear the question so that a local person can
"ask" the questions. Some of this surfaced on Helsinki TV
during the European tour, but we've got the whole thing.
Glenn talks about the early days of the band, the box set,
the millennium show and even shows an early indication of
the Felder stuff that was looming on the horizon. Even
though this is just Glenn, it's got so much Eagles' history
in it, that we're categorizing it an Eagles clip.

Open Ended Interview (1992)
This is an open ended interview with Glenn about the Strange
Weather album. A DJ would get a list of questions and the
audio of Glenn's answers so it could look like the local
station had scored an actual interview with Glenn.
1. "Strange Weather" is less rhythm and blues than
your last record. Why?

2. "He Took Advantage" is obviously a serious
political comment. What motivated you?

NOT serious!

Dr. Pepper Interviews (1982)
How about a vintage Don Henley interview? This is from
November of 1982 and is part of the Lew Irvin Report series
that was sponsered by Dr. Pepper. In it, Don talks about the
end of the Eagles and his new solo career. It's an
interesting listen especially when compared to more recent
interviews. The titles are from the show's call sheet.
Intro
Part 1
-- Beginning a six-part interview with Don Henley, who
describes the break-up of the Eagles.
Part 2
-- Don Henley says the Eagles broke up at a concert in July
of 1980--and the break-up was actually recorded.
Part 3
-- Don Henley indicates tha after the breakup of the Eagles,
he felt as if his wings had been clipped.
Part 4
-- Former Eagle Don Helney is writing message music.
Part 5
-- Don Henley's first single after he left the Eagles

sell his house and turn down invitations to go on the road.

Virgin Radio Interview
(February 24, 2008)
There's not much new here (Ben Jones should have called up
Nicky Horne because he asked pretty much the same things
Nicky did back in October) but there are a few interesting
tidbits. Don hints that "Waiting in the Weeds" will be part
of the new live set, he also didn't sound so final and
negative about the possibility of another Eagles album. We
learn that "stretching" is a large part of his workout
routine and that Don Felder's is referred to as "The
Departed".

Andre says the following about this interview: I got word
the morning of the 24th of November, 2008 that Don Henley
would be calling me, in advance of The Eagles show in town
the next night. Don was once again a pure please to speak
with, and we had much more time than our last interview to
cover a wide range of topics.
