The
Eagles put on a great show, going almost three hours
and mixing hit solo material with Eagles classics. The
current set list as presented on your site is accurate
as to my recollection and similar in many ways to the
set list from Little Rock about eleven months ago. As
usual the Walsh material ROCKED and was my highlight
of the show. Henley was in particular great voice on
Wasted Time and frankly has never sounded better. I
commented to a friend that Glenn Frey onstage is the
Webster's collegiate definition of COOL. All involved
onstage looked to be having a great time with Henley
and Frey exchanging smiles and laughter constantly
throughout the performance.
The use of Walsh and Frey on various keyboards showed
their long established versatility as musicians. If I
knew then what I know now, I would have had the sound
guy to turn up Glenn's microphone during You Belong to
the City.
Overall an excellent evening's entertainment from one
of the greatest bands of the ' '70s and early ' 80s.
Saturday's walk down Memory Lane was a truly enjoyable
one.

Mark's Review |
I saw the show in...
Memphis (Thank goodness for the wonderful audio
equipment that the Eagles brought with them. the
acoustics are horrible in the Pyramid) Good place to
see basketball though..
My favorite part was... the entire second set was
truly the Eagles at their best. I was very impressed
on how each members voice was matured and still sounds
great in a live concert. Especially Don and Timothy.
Even Glenn seemed to really try to hit his notes as
best as he could. :-) They really seemed to get warmed
up after the break and played with inspiration. I
think being in Memphis and musical heritage that our
city has definitely has this effect on a lot of bands
that play here. Glenn made several comments on how
they will be back ......for farewell V.. LOL
My least favorite part was.... Took the guys a few
songs to get warmed up I thought that the opening song
(Long Run) of course was a tribute to Memphis but it
should have been included later in the set and a
faster tempo song (Life in the fast lane) or another
should have kicked things off
The band members were..... seemed very comfortable and
really enjoyed themselves as the show went on. Even
when Glenn was leading the dancing by the the horn
section and Joe had a good time with the very funny
helmet cam. I love how Glenn and Don were really
talking to the audience between songs and seemed to
really want to perform well.
The show made me feel..... The show made me remember
why people go to live shows. They really spared no
expense in making the best quality show possible..
Unlike many bands who don't even play instruments....
One thing I'll never forget is..... I'll never forget
the feeling that the band seemed to really enjoy
playing together...this comes across much more than
most bands realize and hopefully now that the Eagles
matured (well except for Joe ;-) they can really take
their time and enjoy the experience with their fans
now than they ever did from 1972' through 80'
Other comments .......Besides the opening song, the
play list was great ...3 + hours of every Eagles song
you could want. I only wish they did not wait 9 years
to come back between concerts :-)
Thanks for reading and for others who are going later
this year ..enjoy the
show ...

Andrew's Review |
Andrew - I was at the
show in Memphis. It was AWESOME. Every band member
looked like they had a great time. Henley smiled,
jumped around, and sounded spectacular! Frey
cracked a few jokes, did awesome as always.
Timothy sounded great as always. But the highlight of
the evening was Joe. He is a great entertainer.
He had everyone in the Pyramid going crazy. From
Walk Away to Desperado no one sat down. People were
dancing in the aisles, headbanging, jumping
around....anything imaginable. I had 12th row so
i was of course in the middle of it all. It is the
best concert I have ever seen. Much better than
last year in Little Rock, I thought. I really
enjoyed how they all jumped together on Dirty Laundry
and anything Joe did was awesome. He really
stole the show. After Walk Away the crowd on the floor
started chanting, "Joe, Joe, Joe", over and over. But,
totally awesome show. I recommend it to anyone who
likes them.

The show in Memphis was
out of this world. But you could tell they seemed
tired. The concert in Biloxi MS in 2002 was the best I
ever seen, There they look good acted upbeat. But do
not get me wrong they were great in Memphis but
something was missing. I love each and everyone of The
Eagles, I wished they would let Timothy do more
because he is very talented and women just love his
ballots. Also his voice along with the others is an
asset. He still has a look that is from the past and
still very much a today's man. Which helps me remember
yesterday and today. Is Henley letting his hair grow
out and is he gaining wait? Oh well it don't matter I
still love him. But Timothy gets sexier the older he
gets much like wine. |

I saw the show
in...Memphis
My favorite part was... enjoying the solo work of each
artist in addition to the Eagles hits, plus realizing
the musical talents of all members.
My least favorite part was.... the intermission.
The band members were..... on their game and made
music feel timeless.
The show made me feel..... like I was in the 70s and
had re-lived my life all the way through today.
One thing I'll never forget is..... Joe Walsh.
Other comments .......if you get the chance, Go Go Go
to see The Eagles. You will never regret it.

John's Review |
My name is John
Zbarsky and I live in Montreal Quebec Canada. I grew
up with these guys and I go back to the times when
Bernie Leadon and Randy Meisner were with the group. I
am a young 57). Memphis was the eighth time I have
seen them.
I did not find this concert as good as the 2002 tour.
They did play a lot of their individual songs which
was great. The brass section was a nice touch and made
the music much richer in sound. Still ,there was too
much instrumental stuff.
Nevertheless this was a great concert. The sound
system in the Pyramid is very good. These guys are
devoted professionals and fantastic musicians. The
concert was at least 2 and half hours in length with 3
encores finishing with Take it Easy and Desperado.
Fantastic stuff. |

I drove 8.5 hours from
Flatwoods, KY to Memphis, TN to see The Eagles on
Saturday, June 7th, 03. The concert, as always, was
beyond good. The entire three hours rocked. When they
sang Whole in The World, it was awesome. Henley ended
with Desperado and it sounded better than a studio
recording. Henley only gets better with time. The
Eagles get better with time. I can't wait for the new
album. Of course, The Peabody was a great place to
stay and the pork barbecue on Beale Street was
delicious. |

the june 7 th memphis
show was great. the eagles were in top form and ready
to rock. so was the crowd. some people thought that
there were too many ballads during the first hour, but
i loved it. glenn sang you belong to the city, and
left us wanting more of his solos. joe stole the show
singing anything from rocky mountain way to life's
been good. my favorite don, sang only a few of his
solos, dirty laundry, boys of summer ,sunset grill,
and all she wants to do. the show started about 8:20
and ended about 11:30. damn they are good. come back
to memphis soon. |
