My
favorite part was... Joe Walsh singing Walk Away (he
stole the show i
thought)
My least favorite part was.... Frey's 'You belong to
the city' song
The band members were..... fairly energetic
The show made me feel..... pretty good
One thing I'll never forget is..... Frey asked if
they'd ever played in
Bakersfield and the crowd shouted "NO!". He said, "I
didn't think so... well
what took us so long?"
Other comments ....... The show was very good and the
sounds quality was
excellent for the venue.

I saw
the show in Bakersfield at Centennial Garden and my
floor level seat
was excellent because I got to see the entire show
even when people were
standing up thanks to the large video screen up over
the stage, which was AWESOME!
The whole setup was FANTASTIC!
My favorite part was the whole show! The fans came to
see the Eagles in all
their glory and the guys gave us what we wanted for 3+
hours! As far as I
know, no one left disappointed!
My least favorite part was not getting to hear "The
Last Resort". Since most
of their charities deal with environmental issues, I
was surprised that that
song was not part of the set list.
The band members were definitely in top form! They
gave 200% on every song!
Each of the guys got their chance in the spotlight and
they "took it to the
limit every time"! Their between song comments were
great and Joe's "Helmet
Cam" and on stage antics only added to an incredible
evening!
The show made me feel that I am definitely proud to be
an Eagles fan and will
continue to support them now and always!
One thing I'll never forget is finally getting to hear
my favorite song
"Hotel California", live! Singing along with several
thousand other fans made the
experience one I will definitely remember from this
fantastic night!
Other comments: The Bakersfield fans were extremely
enthusiastic and sang
along with every song from "The Long Run" to
"Desperado" and gave the guys
extended standing ovations, especially during the
encores! However, both we and the
Eagles wondered why they hadn't come to Bakersfield
sooner! If there is
another tour to support the new album coming out next
year, I have no doubt that
the Eagles will return to Bakersfield and Centennial
Garden to give the fans
another incredible show!

To say that the Eagles
were great in Bakersfield would be understating
it!!!!!!The whole show was awesome! It was great. Some
people say that Don is never in a good mood or that
Glenn is not always the nicest guy. I detected none of
that!! It was like you could go and have a beer with
those guys. And Joe was fabulous. Timothy was great!!!
The whole thing was wonderful!!! It sounded great!!!
The sound rattled the seats two hundred feet away
(That's about how far away I was). My mom was covering
her ears the whole show. Except for the ballads. I
can't say enough good things about it!!! |

I saw
the show in...Bakersfield, California..... Thanks guys
for treating us with such a great performance!
My
favorite part was... EVERYTHING!! Opening with "The
Long Run," closing with "Desperado" and throwing in
everyone's favorites in between.
My least favorite part was....That after 3 hours, the
show had to eventually end.
The band members were..... So GREAT! They had non-stop
energy, sang their hearts out for us and really seemed
to be having fun doing this just for us!
The show made me feel..... Like that empty spot is
totally filled up. This was the show of a lifetime. If
I never got to see another concert for the rest of my
life, it would be ok. I'm satisfied now!
One thing I'll never forget is..... Timothy
singing "I Can't Tell You Why," which is my personal
fav. I will be walking on air for quite some time now!
Other comments .......I also liked how the
guys brought in songs from their solo careers. It was
unexpected, and we loved every second of it! I also
want to say the back-up band did a great job as well.
You guys are awesome!
All I can say
is, if you get the chance to see the Eagles play
.......do it, go, you will have the time of your life
and not one minute of the show will disappoint you, I
promise! From start to finish, this was by far the
best concert I have seen.

My
favorite part was... THE ENTIRE PERFORMANCE, YOU GUYS
ARE AWESOME, EXTREMELY TALENTED AND ENTERTAINING.
My least favorite part was.... HAVING THE NIGHT END.
YOU GUYS COULD HAVE PLAYED ALL NIGHT.
The band members were..... VERY PERSONABLE, GOOD OLD
BOYS, AND JUST PLAN FUN
The show made me feel..... AFTER A LONG HARD WEEK AT
WORK (& ONLY HALF THROUGH), THE SHOW WAS GREAT, KNEW
ALL THE SONGS, ALL THE WORDS, BROUGHT BACK A LOT OF
MEMORIES AND I LOVED THE NEW ONES.
One thing I'll never forget is..... WHEN YOU CAME BACK
OUT TO PLAY DESPERADO, MY NEW HUSBAND SAID TO ME, "HAD
A HARD TIME LISTENING TO THIS SONG BEFORE TONIGHT. IT
WAS TOO SAD AFTER MY WIFE DIED. I DIDN'T KNOW I COULD
LOVE AGAIN. THANK YOU. I LOVE YOU SO MUCH." I THANKED
HIM FOR LETTING ME LOVE HIM. IT WAS A GREAT EVENING
FOR US.
Other comments ....... THANK YOU! KEEP ROCKIN' AND
TOUCHING PEOPLE'S LIVES IN A POSITIVE WAY. MAY GOD
BLESS YOU ALL! GOOD LUCK ON YOUR TOURS.

I saw the show in
Bakerfield, Ca. I took my 10 year old daughter to see
them as a surprise birthday present. She absolutely
loved the concert and that is all she can talk about.
She stood up and danced and was giving high 5's to
people when her favorite songs were sung. I would to
anything for her to be able to tell The Eagles how
much fun she had and how much she loved her birthday
just to hear them in concert.
To see her enjoy herself that much and to sing along
with the guys has made my life worth wild. The only I
regret was that she could not get an autograph and
tell them in person how much she loves them. Maybe
one day she will get that chance, but until then I
will cherish every moment I spent with her at that
concert. |

Well, what can I
say.....The Eagles came to Bakersfield, Ca. for the
first time and they kicked ass.
I had not been to a concert in years and was astounded
at the production they gave. All of them looked good
with the except of Joe, he really looked tired, but
played like always. I enjoyed thoroughly all their
songs with the exception of two or three that I still
don't recognize. No I was not drinking.
They started a little late, at 8:30 pm but played,
with their ** 5 encore ** appearances until midnight.
I took my 34 year old daughter with me and she loved
it. As she was old enough to cruise around with Dad in
my old '57 Chevy, Eagles tapes were always plugged in
and it grew on her also.
Stewart Smith did an excellent job in Don Felders
place, but I really like how Don plays. He seems he
plays so effortlessly.
It was great to see that they still have the fire to
put on a great show. Granted the sound seems to have
changed slightly, but the sound was still truly
amazing.
They had added some people in their arrangements and
appeared to work very well. Sorry, I don't have any
names, etc. but they did an outstanding job.
I know it is not much of a review. I guess it is
because I am in awe of their continued excellence.
