Las Vegas Reviews

George and Nancy's Review

We were so fortunate to attend the "Farewell 1" concert at the MGM in Las Vegas last Saturday....IT WAS BY FAR THE BEST CONCERT WE'VE EVER EXPERIENCED. Our son and daughter gave us the tickets as an anniversary present because they know we loved your music! Can't wait for Farewell 2! Especially enjoyed watching the families...moms & dads with their teenagers all Rockin Out Together! Good music really is timeless...we've missed you guys and glad you're having fun together again! Three encores were amazing and we appreciate the incredible energy you all expended for us!

My favorite part was...  Joe Walsh's Life's Been Good To Me

My least favorite part was....  the OVER_crowded venue

The band members were.....  all the originals plus some great studio musicians

The show made me feel.....  alive!

One thing I'll never forget is.....  Joe's face while singing Life's Been Good To Me

Other comments  .......AWESOME SHOW!!!  These guys still rock

Nick's Review

My wife and I just returned from Las Vegas, where we saw their show at the MGM Grand Hotel. What a show! It lasted almost 3 1/2 hours. Joe Walsh sang 5 solo, James Gang songs (Don only sang 4 solo songs, big surprise). Glenn Frey sang 1 ("You Belong To The City").  My favorite song of the evening was "Tequila Sunrise". The band was energetic, and the guitarist who replaced Don Felder was incredible. I still missed Felder though. No doubt the star of this show was Joe Walsh. This guy was rockin' out. Joe just let loose and jammed. The crowd were on their feet every time. Great show.

Mary's Review

Just got back from the Vegas show (lucky enough to stay for a few days after
for vacation) and must say that it was A TIE FOR THE VERY BEST CONCERT I HAVE
EVER SEEN (have seen over 85 concerts)----HFO IN '94 WAS ITS "TWIN".`The band
all looked wonderful, Glenn looked neat in jeans & jacket. Joe changed between
sets looking very sexy in shiny green pants & black beret during the second
set. Tim was sleek in jeans & grey shirt and Stuart also wore grey. Best of
all, my man Don was totally beautiful in a silky black shirt & black matching
jeans (& of course those same brown boots).

The best part of the show was having 3rd row right (yep Henley's side) seats
and meeting lots of my Eaglesfans friends (L&M, Jeanie, Tom, & Beth). Also, oh
my God, Don noticed our "We're Pukin NOW" sign early in the show and told Tim
about it---Tim saw it, I pointed at him and HE ACTUALLY POINTED BACK AT US,
WOW, WOW, WOW WHAT A TOTAL "RUSH" THAT WAS!!!!!!!!!! What a dream come true, to
know that Don Henley (the man I believe to be "the coolest man alive") and
Tim Schmidt (who is also quite cool) actually noticed that I was at the
concert---absolutely AWESOME!!! That "Pukin" sign had a great time this summer
at
Phila, Atlantic City & Vegas and it can't wait to go to Farewell II next summer
(hope, hope, hope).

The worst part of the concert was that I forgot to take a picture of the
billboard at the MGM Grand with the Eagles picture on it. Also, of course, the
terrible fact that Farewell I is over now for me, boo hooooooooo. Hurry up
Farewell II (please Mr. Henlely, give that perfectionist thing a bit of a rest),
after all, us devoted Eagles fans desperately need some new music cause "we
ain't
gettin no younger" if you know what I mean.

Other notes: MGM Grand is a fantastic place to see a concert, fairly small
(about 12,000 seats) and shaped like a big bowl. Thus, all of the seats are
pretty good ones. Best of all (for me personally) both the left/right sides of
the
stage are very close to the stage(truly wonderful seats). Note to the band
(especially Mr Henely)--I'm already getting excited about Farewell II. So guys,
work work work work----hey, you don't need to be with your families for
Thanksgiving, Christmas, Easter, etc---just hurry up and get that new CD done so
us
devoted fans will have plenty of time to schedule our '04 vacations. Finally,
to anyone out there in Eagleland who hasn't yet seen a show, GO, GO AS SOON AS
POSSIBLE, YOU'LL REMEMBER IT WITH TOTAL JOY FOR THE REST OF YOUR
LIVES!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Kim's Review

My favorite part was... Everything! The music and background pictures were
fantastic. I enjoyed the show and it was nice to feel the band members enjoyed
themselves too.

My least favorite part was.... Can't think of anything I didn't like. At first
I was hesitant about the ticket price of $175 but felt they were worth the cost
afterwards. All band members sang and played well and gave an overall awesome
performance.

The band members were..... FANTASTIC. They gave a great performance. They have
earned the respect they have gained over the years.

The show made me feel..... AMAZED. It was very enjoyable. It was amazing how
much energy the band has.
