Show started a little late, aprox 8:20, but was well
worth the wait! They sounded wonderful. I remember
asking my husband "when do people lose their singing
voices"? They obviously have not.
The Eagles -- Glen Frey, Don Henley, Timothy B.
Schmit, and Joe Walsh were accompanied by 8
additional muscians......all did a fantastic job.
They took an intermission & came back strong,
playing until 11:40! Did 3 encores, closing out
with Desperado and Take it Easy. What a
show....wish it didn't have to end.
Hope this won't be a final farewell!!!!!

When my husband heard
that The Eagles would be coming to our area he asked
if I wanted to go, I said "Sure. You get the
tickets though because I don't know how much you
want to pay." Don't get me wrong, I really like The
Eagles and my husband is a guitarist so it goes
without saying that he definitely wanted to be
there. I couldn't believe he paid over $150 bucks
for a ticket but after experiencing them Saturday
night, it was well worth it and I would do it all
over again this weekend if the chance presented
itself.
We had seats on the
left side of the stage and didn't know if we would
get more of one instrument and not enough of the
other's sounds, but it was well mixed and sounded
great. I thought it was truly amazing how close the
words, music, tempo, and rhythm was to the recorded
songs. They have so many great songs as a group and
soloists that I am sure it was difficult to come up
with the song list. They would never be able to
play all of everyone's favorites. The fruit basket
turn over of instruments was a little monotonous,
they never just ripped into one song after another,
there was always a slight pause. Maybe for effect?
There is no question as
to the level of their skill as performers, they
are one of the class acts that is very rare in this
day and time. Attending this concert was a once in
a lifetime experience. I appreciate the opportunity
to see them together in such fine form and at a
quality venue. Fan participation and courtesy to
your fellow Eagles fan abounded.
Kudo's to Stuart Smith,
he is GREAT! Where did he come from? Such an
unassuming guitar playing phenom! I have never seen
Don Felder play live, but I have Stuart and he added
so much to entire concert. Thank you to The Eagles
for taking it to the limit.

My favorite part was...It's very hard to pick a
favorite part. It all sounded sooo good. So many songs
bringing back soo many memories. A 13,000 person sing
along.
My least favorite part was....A couple songs that
could be dropped and a couple more added. For example
"James Dean" is not a favorite song and seemed to be
the one everyone left to get a beer on. Where is "Witchy
Woman"???
The band members were.....Hot!! They looked good and
sounded even better! I had heard that there wasn't
much communication between them and the audience, but
I sure didn't see that. There were several
interactions between Henley, Walsh and Frey and the
audience.
The show made me feel.....FANTASTIC! I've seen lots
of concerts and this was definitely one of the best!
Worth every penny spent!
One thing I'll never forget is....The chills I got on
my arms when Henley sang "Wasted Time" Also, how much
fun it was to know EVERY song and sing along with
them.
Other comments: If you get the chance make sure you
see them. The sound, the setlist etc. was just
awesome. There is no need for a light show etc.,just
having them play is enough!

My name is Cindy
I saw the show in Tallahassee. Me and my husband went
together, and we also brought our 13 year old son. My
boss brought her 84 year old mother, so a wide range
of ages were represented, that's for sure.
My favorite part was EVERYTHING! They began to play at
8:20pm, took a short break after the first half, and
then played until after 11:30. As Glenn said, "You're
payin so we're playin" and they did.
All the band members looked great. Although Joe seems
the worse for wear, and I was a little unsure about
how his voice would sound -- he blew us away. His
voice on "In the City" was amazing as always. He
seemed to have no trouble hitting those notes and
staying on key.
Tim Schmit got a cheer from the crowd by saying that
he'd been hearing about Tallahassee since he was a
little kid in elementary school because of the song,
"Tallahassee Lassie" and that he was glad to finally
be here.
They started off with "The Long Run" then "Wasted
Time." The only songs that I remember them not playing
were "Victim of Love," "Those Shoes" and "Witchy
Woman." But when you're the Eagles, I'm sure picking a
playlist is very hard.
As for Frey solo hits, they played "You Belong to the
City." Henley hits were "Dirty Laundry," "Boys of
Summer," and "All She Wants to do is Dance."
James Gang songs were "Life's Been Good," "Rocky
Mountain Way," and "Funk 49." The band seriously
rocked on all those rockin songs!
The video screens behind the stage were used well,
enhancing the mood of each song and also used to show
Joe's "Helmet cam" shots while he had it on.
The sound quality was great, the horn section was
great, the guys singing and playing was tight and
right on the money. The harmonies were beautiful!
It was the best concert I've ever seen. I've never
heard sound quality like that at a concert before.
Ok, the only part I didn't enjoy was the drunks in
front of me... I wanted to shake them and say, "HEY!
Do you realize who is standing on that stage?" I mean,
personally - this was one experience I wanted to enjoy
and remember with perfect clarity.
I'll never forget it - it was WONDERFUL!
