Sonora Living Room

The living room features one of two south-facing solaria that allow the house to be heated in large measure by the winter sun. The one-of-a-kind cast cantera rose window design is David Sawyer's adaptation of a Mescalero Apache basket pattern. Stained glass and other art glass  throughout the house by Gary Hymen's Glass studio One. Charming, highly effective parabolic radiant fireplaces built by George McDAvitt, Bryce Bonnie, Randy Moss, and George Gebhard provide the primary source of heat after the sun has set. Other brick and stone masonry by Bob Haley, Earl Morris, and Patricia Neilson.
