Don
Henley and Randy Newman were the father figures at the Billboard
Awards ceremony broadcast live from Las Vegas. Henley presented
Newman with the Century award after an evening of painful (IOHO)
performances. These two fine gentleman shared the stage with
N'Sync, Britney Spears and Irving Azoff's new protégé,
Christina Aguilera. The scariest part of the evening was the act
that came before Don took the stage. Both Don and Randy made
reference to Mystikal's ummm interesting act.
